Systems biology is the computational and mathematical analysis and modeling of complex biological systems. It is a biology-based interdisciplinary field of study that focuses on complex interactions within biological systems, using a holistic approach to biological research.

The branch of biology that uses computational techniques to analyeand model how the components of a biological system such as a cellor organism interact with each other to produce the characteristics and behavior of that system.

Systems of Bioinformatics

Systems of Bioinformatics is a relatively new approach, which lies in the intersection of systems biology and classical bioinformatics. It focuses on integrating information across different levels using a bottom-up approach as in systems biology with a data-driven top-down approach as in bioinformatics.

Role of Enzymes in Biological Systems

Understanding the role of individual components in a biological system is an important step to elucidate or predict its behavior. However, a major theme in systems biology is investigating these systems with an integrated approach.
