Ms. Madhana Priya is a Research scholar in the Department of Biotechnology at Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research, Porur Chennai. She completed her M.Sc and M.Phil in Bioinformatics and also a Post Graduate Diploma Course in Structural Pharmacogenomics. She is a Life member in the Bioinformatics Drug Discovery Society (BIDDS). She has a publication to her list. She has also presented papers and posters in both National and International Conferences with many awards. Her core research interest is treating Lung and Viral related infections like Tuberculosis, Pneumonia, Zika, Chikungunya, etc., in both wet and dry labs. Ms. Monika Moitra has done her Bachelor’s & Master’s in Biotechnology. She has worked on two projects related to human colorectal & cervical cancer & has the knowledge of wet lab techniques such as cell culture, DNA & protein extraction, gel electrophoresis, SDS-PAGE, western blotting, RFLP, etc. She also has the expertise of Bioinformatic subjects such as Computational Vaccinology, Immunoinformatics, NGS Data Analysis, Computational Drug Design, Molecular Docking, MD Simulations, Genomics & Proteomics. She has also won award for her Bioinformatics project presentation on the skin disease “Vitiligo”. Mr. AkinyemiAdemola Omoniyi is a Faculty member and PhD student of Human Anatomy (subfield Neuroscience) at Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, Nigeria. He obtained his BTech. and MSc. in Anatomy at LadokeAkintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso and Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria respectively. He is a cofounder of the BIOAFRI group. Mrs. K. Susila is working as an Assistant professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry. She received her M.Pharm (Pharmaceutial Chemistry) degree from College of Pharmacy, Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Paramedical Sciences, in 2012 from The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Mr. Olatomide Oluwasegun is a PhD student of Human Anatomy (subfield Neuroscience) at Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, Nigeria. He obtained his BSc. and MSc. in Human Anatomy at Igbinedion University Okada and Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria respectively with distinction. He is a cofounder of the BIOAFRI group and a Neuroscientist currently interested in the role of neuroinflammation in Neurodegenerative diseases with some publications in peer reviewed Journals. He has presented both oral and poster presentations in national and international conferences. He has over one year experience in the field of Bioinformatics. He possesses good dexterity in the use of some computational biology tools in drug design. He is also skilled in the use of databases like NCBI, Ensembl (most especially) for annotation of genes, study of gene expression, comparative genomics and the use of Biomart in data mining.
